Welcome to Shitty Kitty

The one stop shop for unique hand-crafted accessories that are utterly useless, but so very cute and cheaper than comparable brands. Everything is handmade in Belgium by one girl drowning in loads and loads of fabric and decals. Everything comes from a smoke-free environment and is unused unless otherwise stated. Sewn by hand, not a machine, the goods are guaranteed to be unique (and asymmetrical). Anything can end up in this shop: Old clothes, broken socks, torn undies - in the form of kittens and dollies. Don't worry, all is clean ;)

Shitty Kitty is not a toy factory and no item is intended for child play. I've seen my keychains go along for years, but they are nonetheless more delicate than bean bags. These are meant to be decorative accessories. They should be gently hand-washed.


2007. Anna enters a shop and sees Ugly Doll keychains hanging from the counter. At first sight, they're cute, but upon closer inspection, they turned out to be rather boring and overpriced. With every step she takes out of the shop, Anna's plans of creating her own "ugly critters" thicken. Since it was lunch break anyways, she went and bought herself some felt, needles, thread, buttons and filling and her first keychain was born (she ripped the key ring off of her current keychain). During film history classes.
Eversince, whether it was on the shinkansen to Osaka, or at Heathrow airport, sewing her "ugly critters" has become her new time killer.


The first creations, kitty keychains, tended to get lost in dancehalls in Tokyo and Yokosuka, including the one(s) a famous Japanese actor had personally received. So like the Phantom of the Opera haunts the opera house, these little critters haunt the dancehalls of Japan...


All items are unique. However, similar items or attempts at reproducing, can turn up. However, if you find a specific item gone, assume it's gone. I do not currently take commissions since I have hundreds of fabrics and embellishments to choose from and it'd be impossible to list them all.
